Full-time Live In or Out Nanny, South End, Boston

Live-In or Live out Nanny needed for a busy family in the South End with two children, ages 4 months and 2 year-old (3 in April), starting anytime between May and June 1st. Their older child attends full day school so primary care will be for the baby. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am to 6pm with 50 guaranteed hours weekly. The family would love to find a long term fit to grow with their family (3+ years).

For nannies who thrive in an environment with a lot of independence and freedom, this would be a great fit! The family is looking for an organized, motivated, self-starter, who can anticipate the needs of the children and put a plan into action to keep their daily lives running smoothly. A great match for them is someone with lots of energy who is caring, loving, present, and will play, interact, and confidently engage both children in activities. Also, someone social who will proactively plan outings and playdates and encourage outdoor play. The family lives in a vertical living space so some physically capable of navigating stairs is a must.

For live-in candidates, the space includes a private entrance with a large bedroom, private bathroom, walk-in closet, and kitchen. There is also a shared gym and living room.

The Family has a friendly small dog so please be pet friendly. No care for the dog is needed.

They are also looking for someone who loves to travel! They travel 6+ non-consecutive weeks a year and also live on the Vineyard for the month of July (nanny can go home on weekends).

If the Nanny prefers to drive to work, private parking is available, but they are also conveniently located to public transit. The Family has a car for the nanny to use during work hours; a license is required.

Compensation is commensurate with experience. They are offering 2 weeks of paid vacations of the nanny’s choice, unlimited paid sick time, 8+ paid holidays, and 50 guaranteed weekly hours.
